Paper Guidelines

Paper Presentation Specifications

All participants are hereby informed to prepare their PowerPoint presentation as per the following guidelines:

  • The presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx format).
  • Use landscape 16:9 format.
  • Use large and readable fonts such as Calibri, Arial, or Times New Roman.
  • The slides should be clear, logical, and uncluttered.
  • The body text should preferably be in single spacing.
  • The presentation should be visually appealing and easy to read.
  • Use only a reasonable number of slides (8-10) so that the presentation can be completed within the allotted time.
  • The slides should be arranged in a clear and logical sequence.
  • Avoid overcrowding slides with excessive text.
  • The presentation may include text, figures, tables, charts, diagrams, and images.
  • Animations should be avoided.
  • Videos are not allowed. If video content is essential, it should be hyperlinked to the PPT with autoplay facility.
  • The total duration for the paper presentation will be 4 minutes for the presentation, followed by 2 minutes for questions by the judges.
  • The presentation must be loaded onto the main computer one day before the presentation.
  • Participants are advised to carry a backup copy on a pen drive to the venue.
